About

Travis Marshall (Australia, 1983) is an independent photography enthusiast from Hyden, Western Australia. His interest in photography began when he traveled solo across Eastern-Southern Africa and Latin America on public transport with just a compact digital camera and a backpack.

His style of drone photography is to capture a "raw abstract moment" allowing you to look at a photo in more detail as a form of art.

This is what makes his photography unique. Western Australia's landscape and coastlines are untouched, remote and one-of-a-kind.

Travis is currently on a mission to capture and share with the world the beauty Western Australia has to offer.

His prints have been published on the cover of The Surfers Journal, The Australian and in TIME magazine to name a few. His signature photo "Surfers avoid riptides off Australia’s southwestern coast, near Margaret River - Travis Marshall" has been used as the centerpiece image around the world for discussing climate change which on its own has been a humbling experience to be part of a more aware environmental and social movement.

He is based in Perth, Western Australia.
